The Nigerian Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, Bauchi State Commandant, has sought collaborations with civil society organisations to holistically end all sorts of criminalities in the state.

As insecurity and criminalities are on the rise in Nigeria, Bauchi State is not spared of the peril. In September 2021, residents of Birshin Fulani community, a suburb of Bauchi Metropolis, took to the street protesting the serial kidnapping of their fellows in less than two months.
Nurudeen Abdullah, the Commandant NSCDC, Bauchi State Command stated this when he gave an audience to the leaders of Hausa Fulani Youth Development and Orientation Forum, HAFYDOF, in his office.

The Commandant said civil society organisations have been playing very crucial roles in maintaining peace in communities, adding that the need for such initiative to continue is more pressing at the moment than ever before considering rising trends of insecurity in the country.

Musa Mohammed Dambam, Chairman of HAFYDOF, explained that the aim of visiting the command was to seek areas of collaboration as agents of transformation.
