I Have No Feud With Gov Bala – Ex-Deputy Senate Majority Leader

Sen Ahmed Abdul Ningi, the former Deputy Senate majority leader has stated that he has no feud whatsoever between him and the Bauchi State Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed.

Abdul Ningi who is a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party PDP stated this while addressing PDP Stakeholders from the Central Senatorial zone of the state, in Bauchi, stating that “Bala Mohammed has always supported me politically and I respect him too.”

He however said admitted that there are some politicians he described as ‘Governors boys’ who are looking for all means to create a scenario of discord between the duo.

The former lawmaker said it is normal in politics but he insisted that they will not allow them to achieve their goal of creating distrust between them.

He said, “It may interest you to know that the Governor has always nominated me for great assignments of ensuring that the PDP remains the best and strongest party not only in Bauchi state, North-East but in Nigeria”.

Abdul Ningi added that Governor Bala nominated him for the PDP national convention which was according to him successful.

He said they also worked together as members of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the PDP and many other instances where the Governor entrusted him for both federal and state assignments.

He called for team working and unity among the members of the party in the state, stressing that he will continue to support the Governor and his administration to ensure that the PDP delivered on its mandate of developing the state and the task ahead of the 2023 elections.
