The North-East Support Group For Al-Makura as National Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress APC has visited Gombe state where it seeks the support of party’s stakeholders during the forthcoming national convention.
Speaking in an interactive session with the stakeholders, the North East Coordinator of the group, Comrade Aliyu Balewa said their aspirant has qualified for the position.
According to him, Senator Almakura is a transparent, dedicated, focused, committed, trusted and tested party member who if emerged as the National Chairman, will restructure and reposition the party even beyond 2023.
“We are here today in Gombe to seek for the support of members of the State Working Committee and other stakeholders of our great party for our aspirant, Senator Umar Tanko Almakura in the forthcoming APC National convention.”
Aliyu Balewa while mentioning some of the leadership qualities of their aspirant, said Almakura is a humble, democrat, listening and committed leader of excellence who is always ready to deliver as expected so as to justify the confidence reposed in him.
“I am so happy to once again inform you that Senator Umar Tanko Almakura is a leader who will not betray his supporters even after assuming into office, he always makes sure that he rewards the people that brought him to power.”

Nitte K. Amangal applauded the group for the visit and promised to support the national leadership of the party for the success of the national convention
