The Member Representing Azare/Madangala Constituency at the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Hon. Tijjani Muhammad Aliyu has last week commissioned an Islamic Integrated School for women in his Constituency at Kofar Gabas Azare.
Addressing newsmen at the event, Honorable Tijjani said the gesture was aimed at supporting married women and widows to bag both Islamic and western education.
“It’s binding for me as a responsible leader to aim high and take serious the educational plight of my people and that is what informed the commissioning of this school today.
“Because failure to assist in grooming people educationally is same as destroying the society completely”, he added.
Tijjani Aliyu reiterated his commitment to continue to support his constituents various aspect that will develop the socio-economic status through empowerment and formulation of laws that will have direct bearing on their lives.
Speaking on behalf of the community leaders, the Mai Anguwa of kofar Gabas has called on the beneficiaries to make good use of the school by empowering themselves intellectually.
He commended the lawmaker for the project and urged him to maintain the tempo.
