WikkiTimes had reported how the child traffickers abducted the children in Bauchi and Kano States, changed their Names and sold them out to the buyers.
The rescued minors were handed over to the governor by the state commissioner of police, CP Auwal Mohammed along with other security agencies on Wednesday.
The children were rescued last week and reunited with their parents.
CP Auwal while presenting the seven children, explained that upon receiving the report of their abduction, the police command in the state launched an investigation leading to the arrest of the suspectes.

Bala Mohammed described the incident as unfortunate, stressing that his administration would not tolerate abduction becoming a trend in the state.
“If this barbaric act is not nipped in the bud, it is capable of bringing suspicion and mistrust between the different people in Nigeria. It is unacceptable for people to be stolen and sold, and their gynaecology, their linguistics, and their faith changed, just because of the money. I hope these are the only victims. I hope many others have not been mutilated or killed,” he said.
He, however, warned the parents against abandoning their responsibility of monitoring their children
The governor while commending the security agencies, pledged to provide necessary tools for them, as well as those addressing child rights issues, to treat the situation to the end.
