Bauchi Gov swears in new special advisers, HOS

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi state today sworn in the newly appointed Head of Civil Service along with five Special Advisers.

The sworn in appointees are, Alhaji Nasiru Yalwa as the Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Musa Haruna Shittu Special Adviser Political, Professor Sani Malami Special Adviser Multilateral and Non Governmental Organizations and Muhammad Sani Burra Special Adviser State and National Assembly Matters.

Speaking at the occasion, Governor Bala Mohammed said the appointment of the new Head of Service and the Special Adviser on Civil Service matters was part of his administration’s commitment to address the challenges facing civil service in the state.

The Governor who said their appointment was best on their contribution to human capital development in the State Civil Service, enjoined them to contribute towards providing the change required in the service.

While enumerating some qualities of the appointed Special Advisers, the Governor tasked them to justify the confidence reposed in them by assisting his administration to deliver on its campaign promises.

He particularly urged the Special Advisers on Multilateral, Non Governmental Organizations and Social Investment to ensure effective execution of projects by donor Agencies in the state and effective implementation of the federal government’s social investment programme.

Governor Bala Mohammed used the medium to appeal to traditional rulers and other stakeholders to intervene and reconcile the aggrieved members of the State House of Assembly for the speedy development of the state.

The newly appointed Head of Service, Alhaji Nasiru Yalwa who spoke on behalf of the sworn in appointees, assured the governor of their loyalty and support for the success of his administration.
