A relative of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, Alhaji Muntaka Mohammed Duguri has donated 9 brand new motorcycles and N50,000 cash to some selected youths and women groups in Bauchi.
Alhaji Muntaka Duguri while presenting the motorcycles to the beneficiaries said the gesture is to appreciate them for their massive support to the administration of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed.
He assured that more empowerment assistance would be initiated to benefit youths and other people in the state.
Muntaka Duguri enjoined people of the state to renew their support and prayers to the present administration in the state so as to deliver on its campaign promises effectively.
Speaking at the occasion, the Youth leader, Kaura Campaign Organization, Bala Saleh Chiroma stressed the need for all hands to be on deck towards safeguarding the future of youth by assisting them with empowerment programs.
While describing the gesture as a welcome development, the Youth leader pointed out that youth remain the engine room of democratic development.
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the initiator and prayed to Almighty Allah to reward him abundantly.
During the occasion, Muntaka Duguri also supported some women groups with cash worth N50,000 each which he says is part of his empowerment assistance.
