Few weeks to the 2019 general elections in the country, the renowned Bauchi based international Islamic scholar Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi has endorsed the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate and former minister of the Federal Capital Territory Bala Mohammed as governor of the state in the upcoming poll.
Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi who is the leader of ‘Tijjaniya’ Islamic sect in Africa made the endorsement recently when the governorship candidate paid him a courtesy visit at his residence.
He noted that none of the state politicians was so kind to him like the former FCT minister.
” A politician can only be beneficial to you in this world. He can’t help you in the hereafter, if people are in need, they look up to government to provide them with their needs, as such they should elect those who will improve the well-being of the people. That is what is called politics”.
” We pray May Allah see you through. Kaura May Allah grant you victory. May you emerge peacefully as governor of Bauchi state “. He prayed.
The Islamic preacher also prayed Allah to rid the nation of its problems and bring lasting peace to it.
” May Allah protect us from all evils in Nigeria and bring us good things. We are delighted with your visit. You told us that you were coming and you are here now “. Thank you”. He said
