Bauchi Unveils Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi Model School

The Bauchi State Government has unveiled the Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi Model School, an initiative aimed at setting standards for academic excellence in the state.

Governor Bala Mohammed stated this in a Facebook post on Thursday, adding that the state planned to construct similar mega schools in all the 20 local government areas.

Mohammed said the model school, which is located at Awala, in Bauchi metropolis, is part of the state’s plan to construct mega schools across the state.

The Governor said the institution is designed to provide a conducive learning environment, tackle the out-of-school syndrome, and promote inclusive education.

“This first site is a testament of my unwavering commitment to providing quality education and ensuring every child learns in a conducive environment.”

He noted that the new school is designed to set a new benchmark for academic excellence, offering state-of-the-art facilities to provide a conducive learning environment.

The project, according to the Governor, also seeks to empower teachers with the resources they need to deliver quality education, aligning with the state’s vision of knowledge-driven socio-economic growth.

“This initiative demonstrates our unwavering commitment to ensuring every child in Bauchi has access to quality education,” he noted.

Governor Mohammed maintained that the project is expected to address the challenges in school enrollment and retention in the State.
