Cleric urges Bauchi Gov’t to fight criminal activities

Bauchi State Government has been enjoined to intestify efforts at addressing criminal activities in the state.

The Chief Imam of Gwallaga Juma’at Mosque, Imam Ibrahim Idris made the appeal in his Juma’at sermon.

The Chief Imam who was responding to the recent killing of some innocent people during sallah celebration, stressed the need for Government to ensure adequate protection of its citizens.

He however appealed to Governor Bala Mohammed to direct security agencies in the state to redouble efforts towards safeguarding the lives and property of people.

Imam Ibrahim Idris therefore called on people of the state to give the required support to the present administration for effective service delivery.

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed was among the worshippers that attended the Juma’at prayer.
