Deplorable Condition of Katsina School Worries Gov Radda

Katsina State Governor, Umar Radda has expressed concern over the deteriorating condition of Kukar Getsa Primary School in Katsina town which is on the verge of collapse.

The governor who paid an unscheduled visit to the school early Monday morning, expressed dismay over the dilapidated condition of the school and ordered for its immediate rehabilitation.

A statement by Isah Miqdad, Special Assistant Digital Media to the governor said the governor had during the visit to the school taken time to assess the level of students understanding and monitor teaching activities.

According to him, the Governor has also conducted an on-the-spot assessment of the capacity of teachers, the school infrastructure and pupils learning.

Katsina Gov Lauds Army Over Improved Security

“Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, on Monday, paid an unscheduled visit to Kukar Getsa Primary School, Katsina. During the visit, he evaluated the capacity of teachers and the learning of pupils and the classrooms”.

“Governor Radda, who visited the schools in the morning hours, spent most of his time monitoring teaching, teaching the pupils, and asking students about some academics relevant to their levels”.

“Worried by the dilapidated environment of teaching, the governor has directed the immediate rehabilitation of the school”, said Miqdad.
