Enugu State Assembly condoles with family of late member

The Enugu State House of Assembly has condoled with the family of its late member, Chijioke Ugwueze, who died on June 19 after a brief illness.

The Speaker of the house, Edward Ubosi, who led the members on a condolence visit to the family of the deceased in Enugu on Monday, expressed sadness over his demise.

The late Ugwueze represented Isi-uzo State Constituency in the house of assembly.

Ubosi described the departed lawmaker as a vibrant legislator, who made actively and valid contributions at plenary and committee works.

“The seventh assembly has lost a legislator per excellence in the person of late Chijioke Ugwueze also known as Aguiyi.

“Aguiyi was never a bench warmer in anything we were doing in the assembly, because he would always say his mind without fear.

”He always strove to represent his constituency well. We, his colleagues, are saddened by his death but at the same time, we cannot question God,” Ubosi said.
