Dr. Good luck Ebele Jonathan, a former President, has heaped praises on Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State for spearheading garnishing infrastructural revolution in the state despite the current economic hardships in the country.
The former President stated this in Bauchi on Tuesday at Bauchi Emir’s palace during a working visit in the state.Jonathan said that he is marveled at how Governor Bala Abdulkadir is able to execute the giant infrastructural projects he has done within the short time he has been the governor of the state, and the skewed funds flowing into the coffers of the state at the moment.

He added that the economic environment is not friendly at this material point in time for a governor to be able to raise money for the kind of projects Governor Bala Abdulkadir is executing for the good people of Bauchi State.
Goodluck Jonathan said that the people of Bauchi State have done excellently well forgiven their governor the much-needed support he requires to deliver monumental infrastructures tailored to better their lives.

“Within this period he has been the governor I have been asking questions and he met me from time to time. Before coming, I tried to look for the list of the projects he executed, and when I looked through, I have marveled at myself.
“These days that the economic environment is not that friendly, it is not easy for a governor to raise money for such infrastructural projects.
“No matter how the governor is committed, if the citizens kept a hostile environment for you, you cannot succeed because whatever you are doing is for your people not for yourself. If the people you are doing all these things for are not receptive, you cannot move forward.
“The information before me is that the citizens, traditional institutions and religious institutions are all working for Bala Mohammed as governor of the state,” Jonathan said.
Dr. Goodluck said that Senator Bala Abdulkadir has come from a humble experience and background that can take Bauchi to the promised Land with commensurate support and Goodwill from the citizens of the state.
Jonathan added that at the moment, people of right-thinking are looking at Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed as a future leader of this country because of his integrity and track record of achievements.
