Dr Halilu Babaji, a senior lecturer in the School of General Studies at Federal Polytechnic Bauchi and Dean of the School of Business Studies, is dead.
The deceased, WikkiTimes learnt, was involved in a ghastly motor accident along Bauchi-Azare Road on Wednesday.
The Bauchi-born lecturer was a product of University of Maiduguri, Borno State. He later proceeded to the University of New Delhi, India for his Doctorate Degree.
He was elected the Dean of the School of Business Studies in February 2023 alongside other colleagues in the institution.
Dr Babaji had in 2019 contested for a seat in Bauchi Stare House of Assembly under New Nigeria People Party (NNPP).
