FG, Bauchi Gov’t to Uplift FMC Azare to Teaching Hospital

The Federal Government as well as the Bauchi State Government have concluded arrangements for the establishment of teaching hospital in Azare and the upgrade of Misau General Hospital to Federal Medical Center (FMC).

Governor Bala Mohammed stated this when he received an audience, of a delegation from the Federal Ministry of Health and social welfare at the Government house Bauchi, who were on facility tour to the state and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment towards addressing all critical malfunctioning facilities bothering the Healthcare sector in the state to compliment the federal Government’s in delivery of healthcare services.

He appreciated the effort of President Bola Ahmad Tinubu of upgrading the The Healthcare sector of the nation and reassured of the readiness of the state government to work in synergy with the top level for the benefit of all.

Governor Bala Muhammad said Bauchi State Government is always prioritizing the payment of counterpart funds and expressed gratitude to stakeholders and partners for supporting his administration’s health initiatives.

Ealier the leader of the team Who is the Director Teaching hospitals at the Federal Ministry of health and social welfare Dr. Salaudden Olawole Jimoh told the Governor that the visit entails a inspection tour to proposed Teaching hospital situated at Federal Medical center Azare and the Subsequent upgrade of the Misau General Hospital to a Federal Medical center.

He acknowledged the initiative of Governor Bala Muhammad’s administration of upgrading the standard of Hospitals facilities across the state which he said is among the best in the country.
