Fire Engulfs Yola NNPC Mega Filling Station

A fire broke out at the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPC Mega Station along Bank Road, Galadima Aminu Way, Yola, the Adamawa state capital.

The Operational Commander, Federal Fire Service, Adamawa State Command, DSF Abubakar Aliyu in a WhatsApp chat with Wikkitimes, confirmed that the incident occurred on Wednesday night.

“The fire started around 9:05 pm, but we successfully extinguished it without any casualties at 11:30 pm”, he explained.

The operational commander stated that the incident occurred while a fuel tanker was offloading fuel. They are still investigating the actual cause of the incident.
