An obscene video of a lady whose identity remains sketchy has been trending since yesterday after she was shamed by her friend for having the contact of the latter’s boyfriend.

The video went viral after the lady had been battered by her friend’s associates and family in Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa State. The victim camped in a car revealed that she hails from Jalingo, Taraba State.

In the video, her friend was first seen with a group of friends beating the victim in her room telling her to delete the boyfriend’s number.

Not satisfied, the lady later invited her family members to strip her naked. Subsequently, she was beaten randomly. The victim was later seen dragged outside her room with the rival girl’s father and mother jointly beating her as the mother ordered that she should be beaten further.

The lady was later dragged to a nearby bush — still naked —- where she was forced to apologise to her friend. WikkiTimes learn that the victim was later taken to the hospital where she was placed on a drip after sustaining various degrees of both injuries.

After the video trended, Raman Nansel, the spokesman for Nasarawa State Police Command said the police have taken up the matter and an investigation has commenced.

Nansel added that two suspects have been arrested in connection to the crime. Similarly, the vehicle used in conveying the victim to a deserted local had been recovered, said Nansel, adding efforts are still on to arrest other suspects who are currently “at-large.”
