Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State has condoled Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi over the demise of his mother, Hajiya Zainab Ahmed.
Hajiya Zainab died on Sunday in Ningi after a protracted illness.
The governor who led top Functionaries of Bauchi State Government to the residence of the bereaved said that the decease has lived an examplary life worthy of emulation by all.
He said that Hajiya Zainab died when her motherly advice is dearest to the citizens of Bauchi State, adding that she left a standing legacy that cannot be matched.
Governor Bala prayed Allah to grant her Jannatul Firdaus, and give the family the courage to bear the irreplaceable loss.
Responding on behalf of the family of the deceased, Emir of Ningi Alhaji Yunusa Muhammad Danyaya, commended Governor Bala Abdulkadir for not only condoling the family over the loss but also actively participated in the funeral prayer.
WikkiTimes gathered that the remains of late Hajiya Zainab was laid to rest in Ningi according to Islamic rites after a funeral prayer at the palace of Emir of Ningi, Alhaji Yunusa Muhammad Danyaya. Hundreds of sympathisers attended the funeral prayer.
