Gunmen Stroke Ex-Bauchi Gov’s Hometown, Kill One

Unknown gunmen have stroke Boto, the home town of two times Bauchi State Governor Ahmed Adamu Mu’azu, in the wee hours of Saturday night killing one Aninko in the process of the bout, WikkiTimes can authoritatively report.

The victim, 50, trades in Pharmaceuticals and has been resident of Boto for the past 13 years, according to eyewitness sources.

Mr Aninko was killed shortly after closing business on Saturday at about 11:45 pm at his residence.

“We heard several gun shots fired. Minutes after, it was reported that Mr Aninko was killed by unknown gunmen,” a resident of Boto told WikkiTimes.

SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, Bauchi State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the attack to this medium in a telephone conversation.

He said, “by the time that police moved to the scene of the crime, the victim was found in a pool of blood. He was taken to Tafawa Balewa General Hospital where he was certified death.”
