I still have more time- Sheik Dahiru Bauchi, denies death rumours

A renowned Islamic scholar and one of the leaders of Tijjaniya Sect in Nigeria Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi has debunked rumorus being circulated that he is dead.

Speaking with our correspondent at his Bauchi residence Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi described the rumour as baseless.

Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi therefore called on those behind the rumour to fear Allah noting that everyone will be accountable to his action.

“For now I still have more time. We shall continue to observe our congregational prayers and dhkirs”, says Sheik Bauchi.

WikkiTimes observed that, of recent, fake news circulation has become a source of concern for particularly the federal government which launched a campaign against the practice-that is fuelled by the social media.

Last week there was similar rumour over the death one time head of Nigeria’s Interim Government Chief Earnest Shonekan which was later refuted by his family and the Ogun state government.
