A Kaduna-based catholic priest, Reverend Father Jeremiah Yakubu, has been reportedly kidnapped by bandits.
Yakubu who is a priest of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Karku in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, was kidnapped yesterday evening at the parish rectory, according to d Father Emmanuel Okolo, the Chancellor of Catholic Diocese of Kafanchan.
Okolo urged parishioners not to take law into their hands. He also called for intense prayers for the release of the abducted cleric.
