Saratu Gidado, 56, a popular Kannywood actress commonly known as Daso, has died on Tuesday morning at her residence in Kano.
Confirming Daso’s demise, a family source said she died at home and there were no immediate symptoms of any illness visible on her before her death.
The source said Daso’s funeral prayer holds later this evening in Kano.
