The Niger State government says it will host a grand reception in honour of the newly appointed miinisters, senators, members of the House of Representatives and members of the State House of Assembly.
The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman said other persons to be honoured include the commissioners, special advisers and other political appointees.
The SSG further stated that the reception is billed to hold on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at the Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi International Conference Centre, Minna by 8:00 pm.
According to him, the special guests of honours are Royal Highnesses, the Etsu Nupe and other Emirs, while the governor, Muhammed Umaru Bago is expected to be the Chief Host.
Other expected guests at the occasion include party leaders, senior citizens and government functionaries.
