Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) news presenter, Aisha Bello, has now died.
WikkiTimes confirmed this from an Abuja-based source on a telephone call on Monday.
“Yes (Mrs Aisha Bello has died). She passed on. We got the news yesterday afternoon,” the source said.
Bello reportedly died after a brief illness in Abuja.
A popular news presenter who had been on the Nigerian televisions since the ’90s and early 2000s, Bello retired from NTA in May 2022 after 35 years of service.
Bello started her journalism journey at NTA as a broadcaster, later becoming the assistant director of news and the general manager of NTA Parliament.
She had a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Kaduna State.
