The Bauchi state wing of the Nigeria Labour Congress NLC has called on the state government to reverse the suspending of Education secretaries, treasurers and primary health care directors across the twenty local government areas.
The Union also called on the state government to pay the forty one thousand workers whom it claimed have no Bank Verification Number BVN.
Reason being that the Congress was not informed of the issues before implementation.
The state Chairman of the Congress Comrade Danjuma Saleh stated this while answering questions from journalists on the development.
Danjuma Saleh said the governor was misinformed about the reality on ground, hence the need for him to look into the matter for peaceful coexistence with labour unions.
The NLC chairman however shade no light on any step, the congress may resort to should the government remain adamant.
The state government had yesterday directed the trio to vacate their seats, to allow for investigation into what it described as “gross financial irregularities” perpetuated by “senior civil servants”.
