Zagazola, a security analyst and expert, stated that a ‘bandit’ in a video clip on Tiktok was seen showcasing “ransom money he collected from his victims.”
According to Zagazola, the bandit account has has over 3000 followers.
As seen in the clip, a young man clad in a camouflage uniform was lying down with several bundles of naira notes spread behind him.
Other videos of the young man as seen on the Tiktok account revealed him showcasing rifles and wearing army or Police uniform.
Zagazola wrote: “Audacity: Bandit on Tiktok flaunting and showing off ransom money he collected from his victims.
“The user of the account has 3000 followers, some of them are bandits who openly show off their riffle and dressed in military or police uniforms
“Tiktok platform has given room for insurgents to promote their campaign of terror without being restricted.”
However, a quick TikTok search by WikkiTimes shows that the account has either been deactivated or deleted as the user’s handle could not be revealed.
WikkiTimes reached out to the spokespersons of the Police force, Muyiwa Adejobi on the matter but several failed phone calls and a text message remained unresponded to as of the time of filing this report.
