Absence of a defence counsel on Monday stalled the trial of Sankyai Obadiah, Provost of City College of Health Science and Technology, Zaria, Kaduna State.

At the resumed hearing in the case, Counsel to the complainants, Hussaini Abdu, told the court that the defence counsel, Yusuf Sambo, called him on phone and told him that he was sick and would not be able to be in court.
Abdu therefore sought for another date to continue with the case.
