The Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Abubakar Suleiman has called for immediate construction of speed breakers at the entrance of Bauchi State College of Health Technology Ningi to end frequent road crashes in the institution.
Speaker Abubakar who made the call in a letter sent to the state Commissioner, Ministry of Works and Transport, lamented the frequent fatal accidents on the entrance of the College that often result to lost of many lives including students.
He said that the speed breakers will alert drivers plying Ningi-Kano highway to reduce their speed limit when approaching the area.
Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y Suleiman prayed that the ministry will take all necessary actions including collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Works to ensure speedy construction of the breakers at the spot.
