Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State has approved the appointment of Alhaji Abubakar Usman as the Chairman of the Bauchi State Civil Service Commission.
The governor in a statement on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Comrade Mukhtar Gidado, said that the appointment of Abubakar followed his screening and confirmation by the Bauchi State House of Assembly.
“The appointment takes immediate effect.
“The appointment was sequel to his confirmation by the Bauchi State House of Assembly pursuant to section 192 (2) and 198 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended,” the statement read in part.
He said that Alhaji Abubakar Usman has vast experience on civil service matters after working as Permanent Secretary Establishment Department at the Office of the head of Service and “retired as Clerk of the Bauchi State House of Assembly.
