Bauchi state gets new Police Commissioner

A new Police Commissioner has been appointed for Bauchi state command of the Nigeria Police Force.

He is CP Phillip S. Maku, psc, fdc, who assumed duty on Monday 18/11/2019.

He took over from CP Habu A. Sani, psc who was redeployed to Kano State Police Command on the same capacity.

A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Bauchi state Command DSP Kamal Datti claimed that the new CP is a seasoned police officer with vast experience in policing both within and outside Nigeria.

CP Maku according to the statement holds a bachelor degree in Business Administration from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

He joined the Nigeria Police Force as Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police in 1988.

Since then he has occupied various positions and posts both within and outside Nigeria.

His last posting was Commissioner of Police in charge of Department of Logistics and Supply at Force Headquarters Abuja.
