BREAKING: Bauchi governor appoints administrative secretaries for 20 LGAs

Bauchi state governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has approved the appointment of administrative secretaries for the 20 local government areas of the state.

A press statement issued by the Secretary to the state government, Sabiu Baba said the appointement were with immediate effect.

WikkiTimes recalled that Governor Bala Mohammed had on 25th October suspended all education Secretaries, Directors of Primary Health care and their Treasurers of all the 20 local government areas of the state.

The state commissioner for Information Ladan Salihu at the time, said the suspension was to enable the state government conduct investigation into the payment of salaries to civil servants without Bank Verification, BVN.

WikkiTimes reports that the previous administration of MA Abubakar operated without administrative secretaries.

Our correspondent reports that the appointment of the administrative secretaries may not be unconnected to the governor’s quest to sanitize the LGAs which he consistently described as hideout for ghost workers in the state.

The statement indicated that Mustapha Alkali, Babayo Sulaiman, Usman Abdu, Nura Yusuf and Simon Ayuba Dodo are posted to Bauchi, Ganjuwa, Misau, Ningi and Bogoro Local Government Areas.
