Mr Panshak Simon Arbe, a middle-aged man, has been found dead inside a well in Dashem Bakin Kogi community of Tafawa Balewa local government area of Bauchi state.
Reports indicate that Mr Arbe had earlier visited a beer parlour with his friends, but left without informing anyone.
Soon after his family declared him missing, his body was later found in the well.
Mr Arbe’s mysterious death had confused residents of Dashem, wondering about the circumstances that led to his passing away, WikkiTimes gathered.
Mr Sabo, a resident, who spoke to reporters said, “Yes a corpse of a young man was found inside a well on Wednesday. The man was later identified as Panshak Arbe who was assumed to be 30 years old.”

He added, “He went to one of the beer parlours in town with friends but nobody knows how he fell inside the well.
“Was he killed or drunk? Only God knows. The well is very close to a beer parlour. But nobody knows what led to his death”, he said.
A family source said the corpse has been transferred to the mortuary at the General Hospital, Tafawa Balewa where further investigation is being carried out on the body.
The death of Mr Arbe is coming a few days after one Ajasco was reported to have killed his friend, Abdulrazak, for refusing to buy him a bottle of beer in Bagel community of Dass. Again, another man identified as Mr Chukwunonso Chukwujekwu was found dead in a room in Bogoro.
