Forward in Action for Education, Poverty and Malnutrition,(FAcE-PaM ), a local NGO founded 15 years ago by the Executive Secretary of
TetFund Professor Suleiman Bogoro has donated N2.5 million cash and food itemsworth N1.5 million to Bauchi State government aimed at cushioning the effect ofthe coronavirus pandemic in Bauchi State.Presenting the donation to the state deputy governor, MrAdo Solomon, the executive director of NGO said the donations were part ofeffort to cushion the effect of the coronavirus in the state.
AdoSolomon hopes that the state government will make judicious use of the cash andthe items donated to ameliorate the suffering of the masses.
In addition to the NGO, First City Monument Bank, (FCMB) hasdonated N10 million to the state’s task force on COVID-19.
Baba Tela thanked the duos for the support, calling on otherwealthy individuals to support the committee in order to reduce the wrath ofthe virus in the state.
