Forward in Action for Education, Poverty and Malnutrition, (FAcE-PaM ), a local NGO founded 15 years ago by the Executive Secretary of TetFund Professor Suleiman Bogoro has donated N2.5 million cash and food items worth N1.5 million to Bauchi State government aimed at cushioning the effect of the coronavirus pandemic in Bauchi State.
Presenting the donation to the state deputy governor, Mr Ado Solomon, the executive director of NGO said the donations were part of effort to cushion the effect of the coronavirus in the state.
Ado Solomon hopes that the state government will make judicious use of the cash and the items donated to ameliorate the suffering of the masses.
In addition to the NGO, First City Monument Bank, (FCMB) has donated N10 million to the state’s task force on COVID-19.
Baba Tela thanked the duos for the support, calling on other wealthy individuals to support the committee in order to reduce the wrath of the virus in the state.
