The Governor who said some elements are trying to use the avenue to instigate violence noted that citizens are allowed to use available channels to address their concerns but wondered why would some elements take advantage of the situation and cause mayhem to the peace-loving people of the state.

He said the government will not fold its arms and see it happening.

Fintiri further alleged that some persons in the state are sponsoring criminals to unleash mayhem and upturn the existing peace in the state, warning that his administration will not stand by and watch hoodlums and their sponsors incite citizens to take the Law into their hands.

“I will not fold my arms and watch anyone or any group of people trying to sabotage the Government”.

“If criminals believe that Adamawa State is a place for them to operate, be warned that you will find this state too hot to stay. We are aware that some in our society are giving support to these criminal elements to upturn the peace in our state. They will not succeed. We will make sure that they don’t succeed”, said the governor.
