Engr. Aybua Dauda Katagum, a Zaki-born businessman and philanthropist has joined the All Progressives Congress, APC as rumours about his governorship ambition thickens.
Announcing his decision to join the APC, Engr Katagum said; “I have Yesterday resolved to join the All Progressive Congress (APC), after careful consultations and intensive advice from prominent elders.”
The business mogul was accompanied to his Gadai ward by a team of loyalists including some APC State Excos, party chairman, Zaki Local Government and all the 11 Ward Chairmen of APC in Zaki LGA where he was registered as a member of the APC.

“’m glad for the warmth courtesy given to us by the APC State Excos, party chairman Zaki Local Government and all the 11 Ward Chairmen of APC and their Excos, Family, Friends, and all APC supporters from within the state”, he said.
Although Katagum did not mention whether he has political ambition joining the APC, many around him have intensified appeal on him to vie for the number one seat in Bauchi come 2023.
