Bauchi state governor Bala Mohammed has assured the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara that he is faring well even after testing positive for coronavirus.
The governor was responding to Dogara’s tweet who said he had tried “unsuccessfully” to reach out to the governor “after hearing the devastating news”.
Dogara prayed for the quick recovery of the governor and Abba Kyari, Buhari’s Chief of staff who was also tested positive.
Responding, Governor Bala Mohammed said “I am doing great and showing no symptoms. I have also advised fellow compatriots to take this pandemic seriously and strictly adhere to guidelines. I cherish your support and prayers”, the governor replied in a tweet.
Recall that Bala Mohammed was tested positive following contact with Atiku’s son who was reported to have contracted the coronavirus.
