The Speaker of the Bauchi state house of assembly, Rt. Honourable Suleiman Abubakar has predicted that in three years time, the state will undergo unprecedented transformation in all sectors of human endeavour.
This prediction was contained in a press release made available to newsmen by the Spokesperson of the Speaker, Comrade Abdul Burra in Bauchi on Tuesday.
Speaker Abubakar expressed optimism that with the achievements recorded from May 29, 2019 to date, there are clear indications that in the next three years, Bauchi State will undergo unprecedented transformation in all sectors of the economy.
According to him, “the journey to creating new Bauchi State will take advance level in 2020 with the Budget passed into law by the Honourable House and assented to by His Excellency Governor, Bala Mohammad.”
The Speaker noted that despite the various challenges and setbacks that Bauchi State has faced in the past, the present administration has indicated renewed commitment to solving the problems halting its development.
“I am optimistic that, as we enter 2020, Bauchi State will soon be the envy of other States for our rapid growth and development” the Speaker said.
However, the Speaker who reminded the people of Bauchi State that nation building is the responsibility of all, therefore charged them to discharge their civic responsibilities by being patriotic, law abiding and promoters of peace and unity.
While calling on the people of Bauchi State to put hands together in order to place Bauchi on the path of rapid development, Speaker Abubakar prayed that the year 2020 will be a year of more commitment, more prosperity and more peace to the people of Bauchi State and the country at large.
He also pledged that Bauchi State House of Assembly will pass many laws that will ensure rapid development of Bauchi State especially in the area of education, health, infrastructure and creation of employment opportunities.
