The Member representing Katagum Federal Constituency Umar Abdulkadir Sarki has launched an education intervention program for Students of the area in tertiary educational institutions.
The programme tagged “FARAR TAFIYA EDUCATIONAL INTERVENTION PROGRAM” aims to provide financial support to the less previleged students within the Katagum Federal constituency.
Speaking at the formal inauguration of the programme today, Sarki observed that such initiative is very much needed in the society, bearing in mind the present state of the country’s economy.
This according to him was what informed his decision to roll out the programme as a means of improving the lives of people in Katagum constituency.
He sai students of Higher Islamic studies would also receive equal educational intervention soon.
