Not less than 46,635 party agents from 16 political parties would be deployed to the polling units to monitor the conduct of the 2023 elections across Bauchi State.
Data obtained from the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) show that 176,223 agents would be deployed to the collation centres across the 36 states of the federation, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) inclusive.
In Bauchi State, the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) submitted a list of 5,429 party agents while the opposition All Progressive Congress (APC) has 5,404 agents. Other 14 parties share 35,802 agents for the exercise starting on Saturday.
For the 1,705 centres across the 20 local governments of the state, the two major parties submitted 233 agents each.
