NORTHEAST
In the Northeast, Bauchi has the highest domestic and foreign debts.
Taraba recorded the lowest domestic debt while Borno has the lowest foreign debt.
NORTHCENTRAL
In the Northcentral Nigeria, Benue has the highest domestic debt of N187 billion, followed by Plateau with N169 billion.
Nasarawa state has the lowest domestic debt.
On the foreign debt level, Niger has the highest of $67 billion, while Benue recorded $29 million which is the lowest in the region.
NORTHWEST
In North west, Kano has the highest domestic debt of N122 billion while Jigawa has the lowest of N43 billion.
Kaduna is responsible for the highest foreign debt with a portfolio of $569 million.
