Bandits Kill 2 in Bauchi Village

Armed bandits, Saturday evening, stormed Shande village in Kurmi ward of Ningi local council, Bauchi State, killing two locals and kidnapping one other.

A security official told WikkiTimes the attack happened around 8:30 pm when the terror group riding on motorcycles invaded the village at shot sporadically into the air.

He identified those killed as Abdulwahab Haruna, 30 and 65-year-old Alhaji Salmanu

Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, spokesman for Bauchi Police Command could not be reached for comment.

He neither responded to calls not an enquiry sent to him.

A day before, the terrorists kidnapped two locals from Kafin Lemo after they failed to pay N10 million levy imposed on them.

On the same day, they also killed two residents of Tamba community in the same local council.

The terror group which specializes in cattle rustling, kidnapping for ransom and killings [in the northwest and northcentral], has recently shifted its focus on Ningi LGA where more than 20 communities have been pillaged.
