Bauchi Monarch Lauds Dualisation of 5.2KM Azare Road

The Emir of Katagum in Bauchi State, Umar Faruk II has Commended Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of the state for actualizing the construction of a dual carriage township road in Azare.

Emir Faruq II said the dualisation of the road is the actualisation of the long-awaited dream of the emirate and the people of Katagum local government.

He assured the support of the Katagum Emirate and its people to the Governor for the socio-economic development of the state.

Speaking earlier, Governor Bala disclosed that the Emir facilitated the project to decongest traffic gridlock.

WikkiTimes gathered that the governor flagged off the construction of the road project which awarded to Mother Cat Nigeria Ltd at the cost of over N4bn.

Speaking during the groundbreaking ceremony of the construction of the road in Azare, the governor said his administration has prioritised Critical infrastructure development projects for the economic and agricultural advancement of the state.

He affirmed his administration resolved to work with traditional Rulers towards disseminating actual community demands dividends of Democracy in the state.

Governor Mohammed said the political and judicial period is over therefore his administration will now continue to actualize the mandates of his ‘My Bauchi project’ agenda.

Appreciating the love and support of Katagum Emirate Council to his administration, Bala Muhammad Abdulkadir stated that the 5.2KM road is been suggested by the Emir of Katagum Alh. Umar Faruk II.

He pointed out that the road when completed will open a new face of Azare township urban development and also ease transportation for people.
