Wife to Nigeria’s first and ever Prime Minister, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Hajiya Jummai Abubakar Tafawa Balewa is dead.
The granddaughter of the late prime minister Hajiya Hajara Yakubu Wanka confirmed the death, saying she died of cardiac arrest.
Hajiya Jummai was taken to India to seek medical care on her heart disease but was discharged some days ago after recording some health.

Mrs Tafawa Balewa died in Lagos, following an abrupt cardiac arrest.
Wanka says he corpse will be brought to Bauchi on Monday for funeral.
Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa was Nigeria’s Prime Minister between 1960 to 1966.
He was killed during Nigeria’s first ever coup d’état.
