COVID-19: BAHA member congratulates Gov Bala for recuperating; tasks constituents on social distancing measures

A member representing Warji constituency at the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Hon. Yunusa Ahmed has commiserated with Governor Bala Mohamed for testing negative for the dreaded coronavirus disease.

The lawmaker who spoke to WikkiTimes on Sunday expressed his excitement over Governor Bala’s second medical examination which tests negative for the virus.

“I want to use this opportunity to commiserate with his Excellency, the executive governor of Bauchi state over the recent affliction which saw him contract the COVID-19 ailment.

“We thanked Allah for his recovery from the virus—hoping that he will deploy his wisdom in improving our health care sector”, Warji said.

Yunusa prayed to God to continue to increase the governor in health and prosperity, “so that the people of Bauchi state will benefit from the policies of his administration”.

“I want to also commiserate with him and congratulate him and his family and the entire people of Bauchi for the recent release of his elder brother who was abducted by unknown gunmen”, Yunusa added.

He called on his constituents to abide by government’s directives on the social distancing measures, which he says are geared towards taming the spread of the virus.

“I want to also urge my constituents to adhere strictly to the social distancing policy advocated by the government so as to ensure that all the precautionary measures are followed to curb the spread of the disease in Bauchi state.”

While wishing the people of the state protection from the deadly virus, the lawmaker prayed for the quick recovery of those who have been tested positive for the virus that are currently undergoing treatment

“We pray that Almighty Allah will limit the disease to only the three confirmed cases that have tested positive for the virus” he hopes.
