Gombe Police Command, says it has arrested five persons for allegdely assaulting a judge and five members of his entourage in the north eastern state.
The suspects, according to the police were arrested for alleged offence of assault and intent to cause harm to the judge and his entourage in Putuk Degri District of Balanga local government area.
Mahid Mu’azu Abubakar, spokesman for the command in a statement made available to WikkiTimes said the state Commissioner of Police has ordered a discreet investigation to unravel the circumstances sorrounding the incident, promising that further details would be communicated in due course.
