I was terrified last night: Bauchi Governor reacts to Appeal Court’s Judgment

Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, Bauchi state governor said he was terrified last night and was unable to sleep in apprehension to the likely outcome of the verdict of the Appeal Court.

The governor said himself, his family and many of his supporters lost their sleep in fear of the unknown since he did not know whether the outcome will favour him or not.

“I was jittery throughout last night, since I did not know what will happen at the Appeal court”

“So when I got the news from my lawyers that I was victorious, prostrated and thank Allah for the victory”, he said.

Addressing journalists at Ramat House Bauchi, the Governor who described the verdict as victory for the entire people of the state urged his supporters to show their humility to God.

According to him, the development will embolden him to deliver dividends of democracy to the people of the state.

 Governor Bala who extended his hands of fellowship to other opposition parties in the state, stressed the need for mutual understanding and unity among the people to ensure the success of his administration.

He expressed gratitude to all the stakeholders who contributed positively towards ensuring the victory at the Court of Appeal.
