The Kano State Hisbah Commission has arrested an Islamic school teacher who is accused of sexually assaulting a student at his late father’s school.
The Commander of the commission, Sheikh Muhammad Harun Ibn Sina, said the accused teacher was nabbed following reliable information, adding that investigation is still ongoing. He noted that operatives of the commission have also travelled to the school to obtain more information about the matter.

Aminiya, the Daily Trust Hausa version reported that the teacher impregnated one of the students.
The Islamic school is prominent in Nassarawa area in Kano and it is owned by a late prominent cleric who was devoted to Islamic propagation in the state.
After his demise, the school is now run by his family members including the accused biological son.
Sources revealed that the teacher is also conspiring with the impregnated student whom he later married, to bring more students to their matrimonial home to defile them as well.
