Tension as Arewa Forum Demands Full Probe, Compensation for Kaduna Drone Attack Victims

Tension is now on the rise as the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) demands a thorough investigation and compensation for victims of the military drone attack on Tudun Biri community in Kaduna State.

In a shocking incident during a Maulud procession on Sunday evening, the Nigerian Army, admitting responsibility, labelled it as “inadvertent”.

ACF’s National Publicity Secretary, Prof. Tukur Muhammad-Baba, expresses deep perplexity at the operation’s execution in such a populated area.

Emphasising the importance of sound intelligence in military operations, he urges transparency to dispel doubts about the initial attempt to downplay the incident.

Muhammad-Baba said,  ”It is indeed trite to say that sound intelligence is the fulcrum of military operations. There is a need to be more forthcoming on the details, even if to douse the feeling in many quarters that there was an initial attempt to downplay the incident except for the vigilance of some members of the public.”
