A traditional title holder in Zaria has allegedly sodomised a 14-year-old boy after threatening to kill him with a dagger.
NAN reports that the incident happened at Kwarbai on 9th December 2022 when the traditional title holder lured his victim into a room.
Hamza Zubairu, the elder brother of the victim explained the suspect asked his victim to bring him money from his room but suddenly jumped and brought out a dagger warning the boy to keep what was about to happen to his chest or else he will kill him.
He said the boy became traumatised and could not tell anyone what happened initially until he summoned enough courage and told his aunt.
“It was the aunt that reported the case to the police at the Zaria City Divisional Police Headquarters,’’ Zubairu said.

In her remarks, Hajiya Aishatu Ahmed, Coordinator, Salama Sexual Assault Referral Centre, Gambo Sawaba General Hospital, Zaria, told NAN that the centre received a request for medical attention for the victim.
She said the centre had sent its findings and diagnosis to the Zaria City Divisional Police Headquarters.
Police in Kaduna confirmed the incident saying that the suspects will be taken to court for proper prosecution after the investigation into the matter was completed.
