Gunmen Besiege Jalingo, Abduct One

Brazen bandits in the early hour of today, invaded Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State and kidnapped one Kabiru Sa’ad Ardo.

A source close to the victim, Mustapha Gembu, in a Facebook post, said Ardo was picked from his residence around the primary school board in the outskirts of Jalingo.

“The young Samaritan, Kabir Sa’ad Ardo was abducted in the early hours of today by the bunch of daredevil kidnappers in Jalingo, the capital city of Taraba State,” Gumbu wrote, as he decried the worsening security situation of the country.

He further prayed for the safe release of his brother among other victims of kidnapping.

“My heart, thoughts, and prayers are with the victim and the entire family, may Allah come to his rescue, all victims of kidnappings and bring an end of the road for the evil perpetrators and those handy in the evil act,” he added.

At press times, the marauders have not contacted the family for a ransom, WikkiTimes learnt.

Taraba is one of the states in the Northeast that are being ravaged by incessant activities of bandits and other criminals mindlessly killing innocent people and pillaging their properties.
